We are seeking a candidate to fill the position of Insurance Verifier. Substance Abuse facility experience a plus. The candidate will have an opportunity to work with the senior management of this dynamic and rapidly growing company. This position requires a candidate who is motivated, organized, and a team-player with a positive attitude. This position will report to the Verifications Specialist. MUST HAVE SUBSTANCE ABUSE EXPERIENCE
Duties:
Verifies all insurance coverage
Experience verifying for in-network and out-of-network facilities
Obtains precertification's from Healthcare companies
Determines client qualification for coverage by third-party payer and informs financial counselor, patient, or family member of status Maintains current list of facility insurance contracts and payment schedules
Documents prequalification for third-party payer before date of scheduled admission
Maintains current information on correct and lawful practices for billing government and private payers for ambulatory surgery care
Follows all federal, state, and regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance
Enters all insurance information into computer
Answers telephone as needed
Learns all other aspects of Central Business office for optimal efficiency
Possesses accurate judgment, especially handling charge and dealing with patient accounts
Versatile and willing to coordinate with and participate in, when necessary, all other aspects of the Central Business Office
Performs other duties as reasonably assigned
Requirements:
Experience verifying for in-network and out-of-network facilities, and Medicare
Experience with medical practice billing software necessary
Experience and Education:
5
years of billing experience
High School diploma
Experience in ASC setting a plus

Strong follow-up skills
Works well in a team environment
Technical Skills: Microsoft Suite, Practice Management and Billing software experience a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
