- Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical records and insurance information - Perform medical billing and coding tasks as needed - Provide exceptional customer service to patients, including assisting with retail sales of eyewear and accessories - Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering phone calls - Utilize electronic medical record systems, to input and retrieve patient information - Assist with patients, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or optometry setting is preferred - Knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures - Strong retail sales skills, including knowledge of retail math principles - Familiarity with electronic medical record systems - Experience working with patients is a plus This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
