That's why our caregivers often stay for many years.
In addition, our caregivers enjoy Adam's activities which include walks, going to the pool or beach, shopping excursions, indoor games and puzzles, and listening to live music and other in-town activities.
Our caregivers have quickly and easily adapted to Adam's needs.
While you do need to be attentive, he really doesn't require very much special assistance.
Our best caregivers are very engaging and enjoy, value and really bond with Adam.
You don't need special experience - just a big heart.
We'll train you.
While Adam will treat you well, so will we.
We provide raises, bonuses, and paid time off, and we'll be very responsive to any needs you may have.
You can begin working part-time or possibly full-time.
Initially, you can work sometime between 2 PM and midnight.
You'll begin as an afternoon/evening caregiver and if you're interested and qualify, you could become the primary caregiver with a substantial pay increase.
This would involve shifting responsibility for Adam's care and well-being from us (his parents) to you.
Your duties would change and are listed in one of our application questions that you'll see if you decide to apply.

Why do you believe you would be a good fit for our posiiton? Are you possibly interested in becoming the primary caregiver in the future? If you're interested in the primary caregiver role, which of the following duties would you be willing to perform? a) On-call for back-up duty whenever needed including overnight shift.
b) On call for certain days/hours only (if possible, specify days & hours).
c) Staff recruiting including placing ads, reviewing applications, conducting interviews and making selections.
d) Staff management and oversight - involves providing training, support, scheduling shifts, and determining pay raises and bonuses.
e) Program administration (Medicaid-based) - prepare and submit timesheets, staffing and spending plans, budget requests/justifications, and interface with State agency personnel, Adam's attorney and other support staff.
f) Legal guardianship - in the future g) Live with Adam and provide late morning and early afternoon sleep coverage - in the future Work Location:
